Sister was a gentle, helpful and friendly person. She made her profession of vows as Sister Mary Albert in the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes on August 15, 1954. Throughout this time, she remained a sister mom connecting with her sons and grandchildren while sharing life with her sisters in community until the time of her death. After graduating from St. Marys Springs Academy in 1940, Cecelia entered St. Agnes Convent. In 1962, Sister Colette was sent to Managua, Nicaragua, where she served as a teacher and missionary for the rest of her life. Sister Ann then enjoyed serving as a librarian for nine years in grade schools in Illinois and Indiana and at Beloit Catholic High School, Beloit, Wisconsin. She grew up with her family near Lake Michigan where her father was a commercial fisherman. Mary entered St. Agnes Convent in 1945 and made her first profession of vows in the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes as Sister Suzanne on August 15, 1948. In 1959, after her first year of college, Donna made the decision to enter St. Agnes Convent. Sister Ruth Ann earned her B.S. After completing her years in educational ministry, she worked for seven years at St. Bernard Parish, Madison, Wisconsin, making pastoral visits to the elderly. Sister Mary Neff, CSA, baptized Matilda Cecilia Neff, and formerly known as Sister Mary Donald, died peacefully on April 9, 2018, at St. Francis Home, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Since 1985, Sister Ruth Ann assisted Hmong families in obtaining housing, legal aid, health services, nutrition assistance, and immunizations for their children.
